Roadmap
We are excited to help our users find and reserve tasting experiences that fit their personal preferences and hope to promote the wonderful world of wine in the process. We begin our journey with Napa Valley, but plan to rapidly expand into other nearby regions and beyond. Please feel free to reach out with suggestions, feedback, and requests at anytime ([email protected]). We look forward to getting to know you all and having some great wine together along the way!

“How I Got Into Wine”
My first real introduction to wine was through my aunt. I was at a family dinner at Ruth’s Chris celebrating my grandfather’s birthday and my aunt brought some bottles of wine to enjoy with dinner. Up to this point, I had never been much of a wine drinker, just a couple of sips here and there at parties, dinners, and events, so I wasn’t expecting much.
However, the first bottle we opened was the Duckhorn Three Palms Merlot. After the first sip, I was blown away. The mix of spice and hints of cherry fruit showed me a complexity that I never knew wine could have. It was the perfect combination of food, wine, and family. That began my journey into wine. Afterwards, we opened a bottle of Altus and Merus and couldn’t believe the different flavors I was getting from each glass, not only from the different wineries but even as they had time to breathe.
This experience made me take a more active interest in my aunt’s business, which was providing software solutions to wineries, and we even started growing our own grapes and making our own wine! We are now on our fourth vintage of our Zaminn Cabernet Sauvignon and look forward to producing many more in the future.

“How I Got Into Wine”
I was in Paso Robles for a family reunion and had the choice between playing a round of golf and spending the day wine tasting. While a golfer by heart, I was talked into wine tasting because it gave me an opportunity to spend more time with the members of my extended family that I did not get to see on a regular basis.
It was at Halter Ranch Vineyards—our second winery of the day—where I began to fall in love with wine. I was standing in front of the magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows in the tasting room and sipping on the 2015 Ancestor. While my taste buds danced with dark fruit flavors, my eyes locked on the wine’s namesake. In the distance—past rows of vineyards and up a small hill—sat the largest living Coast Live Oak tree in the world, the Ancestor Oak Tree.
This experience showed me that the beauty of wine is in the storytelling. Wine is history. Wine is people. And wine is nature.

“How I Got Into Wine”
Until recently, I was a beer guy - I even made the stuff in my kitchen! All it took was one trip up to wine country, though, to spark my love of wine. My girlfriend brought me to one of her favorite wineries, Spring Mountain Vineyard. We got a fascinating tour of the property, which is full of history and charm - not to mention its gorgeous hillside vineyards.
The 'aha' moment came soon thereafter during the tasting. We started with the 2007 Cab, followed shortly by the 2010 vintage. The disparity between the two - in smell, in taste, in character - was striking. I then started to think about where I was in those years. In 2007, right around the time when the grapes that became this wine were harvested, I had just started college and making that huge transition in my life.
Today, with every glass of wine, I like to reflect on all that happened during that vintage year - not just in my life, but in that of the wine and the world as well.
